National Carbon Footprint System this year

Little by little, steps are being taken for compliance with this international agreement to limit the 15% increase of annual emissions in 2020 since 1990 of the 6 greenhouse gases. This protocol is contained in the Kyoto Protocol, adopted to be implemented in EU countries.

The Director General of the Spanish Climate Change Office, Susana Magro, has announced the launch of this national system of carbon footprint to be held this year, encouraging companies to take action by redcuing their gas emissions relating to the greenhouse effect.

Regarding the national system of carbon footprint, the general director of the Spanish Office for Climate Change has stressed that it is a line of work, pioneer in Spain, consisting of three registered volunteers.
